Overview of the role
The individual will work in a team supporting Ilika’s production of Goliath solid-state batteries.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
* Adhere to good manufacturing practice and comply with the review and sign off against risk assessments and COSHH as appropriate;
* Execution of production work plan on schedule to meet demand and delivery of quality product;
* Ensuring production targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and quality standards are met;
* Through the ownership of performance and yield in your assigned area, optimise conditions and lead improvement activities;
* Ensure accurate and timely recording of data;
* Monitor and record product quality using defined methods;
* Effectively communicate with team and other stakeholders;
* Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions in day-to-day activities relating to QC, printing, processing and evaluation of solid state batteries and prototypes.

Job requirements:
* Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment;
* Enthusiastic learner with IT and mechanical skills;
* Min A-level or equivalent;
* Self-disciplined with the ability to set and maintain high standards;
* Effective written and oral communication;
* Ability to follow well-defined operating procedures in compliance with ISO standards to achieve high quality in a complex manufacturing environment;
* Good time management skills;
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively and build relationships in a team environment;
* Ability to question the status quo and to implement improvements;
* Conscientious and have a good eye for detail.
