About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Genetic Analysis sales team in Scotland as a Inside Sales Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building relationships with our Biotech and Research customers.
Responsibilities
* Achieve sales targets for our Genetic Analysis consumables solutions
* Identify and close sales opportunities
* Prospect for new business opportunities
* Build internal/external networks and maximize collaboration via our CRM system
* Utilize account and territory planning tools
* Forecasting large deal pipeline and run rate business
* Develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Thermo Fisher Scientific philosophy, policies, and procedures
Requirements
* BSc within Life Sciences
* Experience in a sales role is beneficial but not essential
* Knowledge of the Genetic Analysis workflow and market
* Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
* Demonstrate a positive demeanor and desire to succeed
* Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environment
* Digital literacy in MS Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint or similar programs required
* Proficient in English
