Technical Operator - Temporary Contract - Full Time
Are you a detail-oriented and focused individual with experience working in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment? Our client, based in Covingham, Swindon, is seeking a Technical Operator to join their team as soon as possible. The Role:
* You will be responsible for setting up and operating aseptic filling lines.
* You will prepare, test, and set up multiple modules, as well as small and large-scale compounding systems.
* Utilising bespoke manufacturing skids and vessel systems, you will be involved in the formulation of Pharmaceuticals.
* Your key responsibilities will include performing manufacturing, filling, and operational duties.
* You will ensure equipment is set up correctly to minimise downtime, product damage, and waste.
* It will be your duty to monitor equipment status, report any faults, and carry out cleaning and maintenance of clean rooms and equipment.
* You will also be responsible for the sterilisation of equipment using airlocks before use.
* Non-conformance instances should be communicated to the area leader, Manager, or Quality Assurance representatives.
* SAP transactions and the use of quality systems for GMP changes and report writing will be a part of your daily tasks.
* You will conduct clean room environmental monitoring in accordance with house procedures.
Essential Requirements:
* GCSE Maths and English with a minimum Grade C.
* Basic computer skills.
* Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical company is required.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
The role will be on the double days shift pattern (Monday - Friday, 1 week of 07.00am - 15.00pm, 1 week of 14.25pm - 10.45pm rotating). However, initially when joining, you will be working days/earlies and upon completion of training they will move to the double days shift pattern and receive a 22% shift allowance. The hourly rate is 12.82 prior to the 22% shift allowance.
