What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who hasexperience with children working in groups and independently, establishing supportive relationships, promoting the acceptance and inclusion of students with SEN, encouraging students to interact with each other in an appropriate and acceptable manner and monitoring children’s responses to learning activities and, where appropriate, modify or adapting activities as agreed with the teacher to achieve the intended learning outcomes.
Our school is an exciting learning environment and, as such, you will be able to respond independently to unexpected problems and situations, using your own judgement and initiative in addition to contributing to planning over the short and medium term. Teaching Assistants at Hanwell are highly skilled and immerse themselves into the work, ethos, and values of the school - willing to go above and beyond in this important role.
You will have experience in forming and maintaining appropriate professional relationships with students and adults working in the school and demonstrate the ability to be an effective team member, modelling commitment to student learning.
