This role as an Assistant Accountant is key in supporting the Accounting & Finance department in the property and housing industry. The successful candidate will be handling a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, preparing financial reports, handling accounts payable/receivable, and assisting in budget control.

Description
Prepare and load prepayment and accrual journals.
Manage accounts payable/receivable.
Balance sheet reconciliations
Review P&L and Balance sheets
Assist in budget control and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.
Support other team members and departments as required.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
