IKEA London City are looking to welcome a Visual Merchandising Team Assistant.
Working for IKEA London City means you will get to experience the new multi-site way of working, between IKEA Hammersmith and IKEA Oxford Street. Are you passionate about maintaining visually stunning displays that captivate customers? We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to support our visual merchandising team.
As a Team Assistant, you’ll help bring our brand to life through innovative and eye-catching presentations. If you have a keen eye for design, excellent organizational skills, and a love for retail, we want to hear from you!
WHAT WE OFFER:
* The Start Date of employment will be: 23rd April 2025.
* Competitive starting salary of £13,300 per annum, based on competence and experience.
* 16 Hours working 2 days per week including primarily full weekend working across both days of the weekend.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:
* Passion for home furnishings with experience in a busy retail environment.
* Confidence in approaching and communicating clearly with different people in various situations, with the ability to work with other stakeholders in store.
* A flexible, practical, hands-on approach to responsibilities and the ability to meet set deadlines.
* Self-motivated to achieve goals and a desire to improve ways of working.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:
* Ensure our store displays consistently meet high standards, providing customers with an exceptional viewing experience.
* Provide essential support to implement range presentation solutions that improve people’s life at home and exceed visitors' shopping experience.
* Supporting the implementation of commercial changes and displays in the store, this will include basic wiring, tiling, painting, and assembly/disassembly of shop fixtures where required.
* Keep visitors in mind when working on the shop floor, minimise disruption and remain aware at all times of the importance of safety and the visual impact for visitors.
* Secure high quality, simplicity and cost-consciousness in the execution of work by following established routines.
