Come join EMEA Strategy Office as Strategic Account Director leading our partnerships with the world’s largest Contract Cleaners. Reporting to the Head of EMEA Strategy Office, you are most likely based in UK or Germany. The right candidate could also be in France or Denmark.
Position overview:
As a Strategic Account Director in EMEA, your primary role will be to build strong strategic partnerships with the largest Contract Cleaner customers. This segment is influenced by very specific customer needs and requires a focused sales approach based on a customer-centric value proposition.
You will play a pivotal role in driving our commercial strategy and fostering long-term partnerships with our key clients. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maturing the customer pipeline and for negotiating framework agreements. You will support local Key Account Managers across the markets in EMEA, ensuring the successful deployment of framework agreements.
Who are we?
EMEA Strategy Office is a cross-functional unit working with strategy, performance management, and sales excellence across the markets, while also being responsible for Strategic Business areas within EMEA, including Strategic Accounts.
EMEA, our largest region, is undergoing a significant transformation with a new customer-centric operating model and new ways of working across markets and global functions. The goal is to ensure a solid foundation for customer value creation enabling long-term sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Build and nurture strong, long-term partnerships with key commercial clients.
* Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
* Identify new business opportunities and drive sales initiatives to expand our market presence.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet specific client needs.
* Analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve our offerings.
* Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the local account management team.
Need to have:
* Educational background: bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or equivalent.
* Building relationships; demonstrated ability to build strong internal, cross-functional relationships; and establishing strong customer partnerships.
* Communicator; strong communication skills and sense of urgency; prompt ability to respond, prioritize efforts and problem solving.
* Experience; within either the Contract Cleaner or Hospitality segment; international procurement for Contract Cleaners or Retail.
* Presentation skills; exceptional business acumen and sales presentation skills.
* Drive to outperform; demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales revenue and non-revenue KPIs.
Nice to have:
* Experience with Salesforce CRM
* Solid experience with service offerings preferred - contract cleaning, hospitality, procurement etc.
