Normally it is essential that the Jobholder holds the HNC in Leisure Management or equivalent relevant discipline. Exceptionally, however, consideration may be given to a candidate who can demonstrate extensive experience in performing a similar role, and is prepared to commit to a programme of development which leads to the award of the HNC qualification within an agreed timescale.
It is desirable that the jobholder has a level two swim instructor’s qualification.
It is desirable that the jobholder holds the National Pool Management qualification.
Experience
It is essential that the jobholder has experience of working with the public in a multi-faceted learning or leisure setting, and has a basic book keeping/accounts knowledge including writing/submitting funding applications.
It is desirable that the job holder has supervised staff and has experience of developing. Strategically planning, delivering and evaluating learning programmes.

Based on 20 hours over 52 weeks per year, the minimum actual salary for this position is £20,.01 per annum.
