Job Purpose
As an People & Events Administrator you will play a key role in shaping and enhancingthe overall employee experience. You will be responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring a seamlessonboarding experience. Additionally, you will support the design and implementationof training and development initiatives to ensure the growth and professional development of our employees.
You will work with all aspects of the business across a range of regions and will beresponsible for the design, organisation and implementation of the Learning &Development and events calendar. This role provides an exciting opportunity for acreative individual who has a passion for people, employment engagement andwellbeing.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can work on their own initiative and with a wide variety of stakeholders, to drive engagement and positive employee experience at every stage of the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Culture, Engagement and Events:
• Project manage a range of cultural activities and events, from development andplanning, to promotion, delivery and evaluation, building partnerships and trackingoutputs, to ensure they support our values, build platforms for our people, andencourage cultural engagement and wellbeing.
• Ensure that all engagement activity is aligned with the department strategy toinclude activities such as recruitment, induction and learning and development.
• Provide an exceptional employee experience at every touchpoint in our employees’journey, from recruitment to recognition and reward, in line with the employeeengagement strategy.
• Be responsible for engagement metrics and data and regularly review and updateinformation with high levels of accuracy.
• Provide an exceptional employee wellbeing experience as part of the Safety andWellbeing plan.
• Identify engagement trends through the delivery of company-wide surveys andfeedback methods and help create corrective action and communication plans.
• Support the ongoing management of the Culture and Sponsorship Budget.
• Design and implementation of community, education and outreach programmes
Onboarding Experience
• Design and execute onboarding programs that provide new hires with a comprehensive and positive introduction to the company culture, values, and expectations.
• Work closely with hiring managers and Talent team to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
• Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding process. Training and Development:
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
• Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs to enhance employees' skills andcompetencies.
• Support the Performance Management Process and work with Managers todevelop and other key people development projects.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust programs as needed.
• Support managers in developing their team members through training,performance management, development planning and career pathing.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential
• Hold a third level qualification in a relevantdiscipline or equivalent experience.
• Have 2 years’ experience in a HR, L&D orMarketing role.
• Have 2 years’ experience in eventcoordination and administration.
• Have experience of working within budget.
• Experience of managing multiple projectsin a busy environment.
• Experience using Adobe InDesign,Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience in the management of a socialmedia presence.
• Have experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Be an enthusiastic self-starter able to workwith internal stakeholders to complete aproject.
• Be an enthusiastic and clearcommunicator.
• Be able to work on own initiative in a fastpaced environment.
• Be able to manage a number of tasks andprojects at once.
• Be able to prioritise effectively.
• Be dynamic, flexible, and highly organised.
