Comply with local and national policies for the safe, secure, and confidential processing, and storage of patient and other laboratory information. Use the Laboratory and appropriate Trust Information System according to the authorised protocols. Produce accurate Cellular Pathology reports by audio transcription using the digital dictation media and computer system. Collate Cellular Pathology reports and specimen slides for consultant and medical staff for the weekly MDT meetings, as may be required. Prepare reports generated by computer for any audit requirements. Input patient data onto the laboratory information system using knowledge of data coding and procedures. Process patient reports and distribute internally and externally. Maintain an adequate filing system. Carry out appropriate daily maintenance of office equipment prior to being used for report generation. Maintain stationery stocks.
