SEN Teaching Assistant – Rawtenstall Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school environment in Rawtenstall. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a variety of SEN. Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised learning programmes. Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes student development and well-being. Support class teachers in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring that all students are engaged and supported. Help students with daily routines, activities, and personal care as needed. Skills and Qualifications: Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. A relevant qualification in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is advantageous, but not essential.
