Quality and Safety Engineer Role Summary:
Seeking a Quality and Safety Engineer to oversee quality assurance and health and safety protocols in a highly regulated industrial sector.

The successful candidate will implement and maintain quality systems, conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and develop safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain quality systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop safety policies and procedures in compliance with OHSAS 45001 regulations.
* Participate in audits, prepare reports, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure safety and quality objectives are met.
* Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.
* Produce reports, metrics, and conduct incident investigations for senior management.
Requirements:
* Strong background in Electrical and Mechanical engineering with at least 5 years in a quality engineering role.
* Experience in highly regulated industries such as nuclear, civil engineering, utilities, or welding.
* In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and health & safety regulations.
* Skilled in audits, regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and safety procedure development.
* Ability to travel for site visits and audits with a full UK driving license and eligibility for SC clearance.
* Familiarity with automation systems and functional safety standards (desired).
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent safety qualification (desired).
* Degree-level education with relevant professional memberships (desired).
