Senior Estate Planner / Will Writer. A Bradley Stoke based legal firm needs a Senior Estate Planner / Will Writer to join the team.
This role would suit someone who is currently or has experience as a Will Writer, seeking the next step in their legal career.
The Senior Estate Planner / Will Writer requirements:
* Graduate in a regulated profession such as Law or Accountancy and Finance, with a minimum of a high 2:1, or a diploma in financial services
* Relevant experience in Will Writing and Estate Planning
* Confidence in speaking to clients over the telephone and virtually via Zoom/Teams
* A proven track record of academic, career, and personal development
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills
The Senior Estate Planner / Will Writer will benefit from:
* Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) membership/qualifications (advantageous but not essential)
* Experience working in a law firm or solicitors' firm (advantageous)
* Experience providing high levels of client service
* Retail or hospitality experience
* Sales and customer service experience
* Experience managing a client base
* Completion of the Legal Practice Course or SQE (advantageous but not essential)
The attributes of the Senior Estate Planner / Will Writer include:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clients over the phone and Zoom
* Ability to analyse client needs and provide appropriate advice and recommendations
* Meticulous attention to detail in both verbal and written communication
* Capability to manage multiple clients and liaise with introducers at various stages
* Discretion in handling sensitive information
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other IT systems, with quick adaptability to new systems
* Efficient workload and client file management
* Willingness to learn and expand knowledge
The package for the Senior Estate Planner / Will Writer includes:
* Salary based on STEP qualifications and experience, ranging from £25,918 to £44,982+ (pro-rata)
* Discretionary bonus and commission

* 25 days holiday plus 24 & 31 December, and statutory bank holidays
