Your new school
The Rawlett School is part of Lift Schools, a MAT of 57 schools with 10 in the Midlands, which allows you access to the best training programmes available as well as more internal opportunities. The Rawlett School is a secondary school led by a dedicated and ambitious Head of School, Beccie (Rebecca) Walker. Having worked for Lift since 2005 she has spent the last 13 years transforming the culture and teaching at The Rawlett, she has now established a strong leadership team and is confident to gain a 'Good' Ofsted on the next inspection. But she still needs ambitious teachers to be part of this incredibly rewarding, yet challenging, journey and this is an opportunity for you to be part of that as we look to recruit a Teacher of Mathematics.
Your new role
The Mathematics Department is an established and credible team led by a fantastic Head. The team of eight work collaboratively together and the pupils are hard working and engaged. This year's results are looking like the best yet and we'd love you to help us continue our success. The curriculum remains exciting and of high quality by continuously being reviewed and we'd like you to be part of what we teach. We believe in giving all teachers the opportunity to be great and will support you both personally and professionally to ensure you reach your full potential.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with strong subject knowledge in Maths and strong classroom management skills with a passion for the subject. You will have a successful track record of improving the education of pupils in a and know what excellent education looks like in a classroom. Whether you're in your first year of teaching or your tenth, you will be warmly welcomed and supported here.
