As a Pipe Fitter Welder, you will carry out pipe fitting and fabrication tasks including small amounts of mechanical fitting and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out pipe fitting welding tasks
2. Performing mechanical fitting and maintenance work
3. Fabricating parts from drawings or templates
4. Conducting NDT and pressure testing on completed works
5. Unloading deliveries and storing them in their correct locations
6. Preparing parts for welding
7. Providing assistance to the site team as needed
About You:
1. Completion of a recognised qualification or time served trade apprenticeship.
2. Experience in a similar role within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
3. Welding and Fabrication experience is a must-have for this position.
4. Understanding of Engineering drawings
5. Competency in Tig / Mig / Arc Welding
6. Experience in Fabrication work
7. Understanding of Health and Safety
