Job summary
To be responsible for management of the Management Accounting Team such that a robust management accounting infrastructure is in place and Heads of Finance and Business Analysts are fully supported.
To be responsible for managing the Trust's monthly budget reporting cycle through the General Ledger, ensuring that accurate and timely budgetary control information is circulated to all budget holders in line with agreed reporting deadlines.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for managing the Trust's monthly budget reporting cycle through the General Ledger, ensuring that accurate and timely budgetary control information is circulated by management accounts to all budget holders in line with agreed reporting deadlines.
To ensure appropriate variance analysis and forecasts are produced to facilitate monthly review of financial performance by the Assistant Director of Finance within deadlines.
To support the Head of Reporting in production of all income and expenditure reportsfor use in Monitor reports, Trust Board Report, divisional reports and others as required. This includes liaising with the Head of Financial Services and AssistantDirector of Finance - Financial Planning, to manage the incorporation of the balancesheet, capital, cash flow, income and activity into all relevant reports.
To co-ordinate the processes for management accounts input to the Trust's financialforecast, business planning, CIP monitoring and budgeting assist the Senior Finance Team in the design and provision of training to Budget Holders
