The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, supporting both clinical and dispensary operations. Responsibilities : As an ACT/MMT Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including medication preparation and dispensing, conducting medication reviews, and providing patient counselling in busy clinical areas such as clinics and inpatient settings. You will also be involved in medicines management and optimization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, you will support cancer services, particularly in oncology and haematology, and contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of the pharmacy operations. Qualifications and Experience : Registered pharmacy technician, band 5 equivalent MMPT accredited ACPT (Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician) accredited Experience in counselling patients about medication in busy clinical areas (clinics and inpatients) Experience in cancer services (oncology and haematology) is highly desirable Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to continuous professional development Why work with Pulse?
