Cranes After School Club Assistant permanent contract, Monday -Thursday, 3.15pm to 6.00pm.
Cranes Breakfast and After School Club operates daily during term time for children attending Park Mead Primary School. We are looking for a permanent assistant to work at this established club which prides itself as a home from home setting for the children.
The Assistant role plays an important part in engaging children in an exciting environment. Cranes Club is led by a Club Lead/ Supervisor and supported by After School Club Assistants. The club is open to children from 7.45am to 8.45am and 3.15pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and is based in a well-equipped room in the school with an outdoor play area and access to school facilities.
The role is a permanent contract for Monday -Thursday, 3.15pm to 6.00pm, 4 x sessions 2.45 hours totalling 11 hours a week, term time 38 weeks a year. A willingness to cover other afternoon sessions on the rare occasion of staff sickness would be beneficial, the school also offers the opportunity to work at lunch times.
Salary Surrey Pay scales PS3.3 £23,576 Full Time Equivalent.
Pro Rata Actual Salary £6,038. The salary will be determined on the level of skills, experience and training in the areas outlined above as determined at an interview.
The Assistants support the Lead in ensuring the safety, general welfare and proper conduct of pupils during these periods, providing refreshments and engaging children in a range of activities which are based on play (although children can complete homework if they wish to).
