Person Specification
Further Training
* Evidence of personal and professional development in emergency nursing practice management
* Willingness to undertake leadership training
* Evidence of previous/current management training/course
* Transfer training
Qualifications
* 1st level Registered Nurse
* ENB 998 or equivalent
* Nursing Course or equivalent
* Advanced Life Support
* European Paediatric Life Support ATLS observer/TNCC/ATNCC or equivalent trauma course
* Evidence of extended roles
* Nursing Degree
Experience
* 3 years post registration experience, 2 years' of which at Band 5 or above within an ED setting working with adults and children
Contractual
* Ability to work flexibly
* Involves unsociable hours
Knowledge Requirements
* Good communication skills and clear oral skills
* Creative organisation abilities, supervisory skills, charge management and leadership skills
