Vehicle Marshal – ESD Location: Glenfarg Role Overview: Working as part of our ESD water framework, we are now looking for a Vehicle Marshal for our joint venture framework. Based at our site in Glenfarg you will support the site teams through the project life-cycle. ESD is a joint venture between MWH Treatment and Galliford Try formed to deliver Scottish Water’s Non-Infrastructure programme. We are looking for experienced and confident individuals with sound knowledge of working on large scale construction sites as a Traffic Marshall or Gateman or Banksman. Managing construction traffic in and out of the site. Banking vehicles in and out of the site. Ensuring public safety. Dealing with site deliveries. Performing all other associated duties as requested by the Site Manager. Know, understand and observe specific site rules with regard to health and safety. Observe general organisation procedures on site Ensure welfare is kept clean, tidy and stocked. Perform all duties as directed by the site management. Ensure that the site is kept tidy and presentable at all times. Working knowledge of safe construction practice. Able to recognise hazards and dangers of working on a construction site. Able to accept advice and instructions from site management. Able to work safely so as not to create hazards. Ensure all company property under your control is taken care of and stored securely when not in use. Ensure the site is safe and clean in line with COVID measures and daily day to day site cleanliness is covered, ensuring the welfare of the site teams across the two projects is maintained. Role Requirements Applicants must hold a CSCS Card and Traffic Marshall Qualification, along with previous experience. Flexible attitude to work.
