The Job:
1. Maintain training records and plans for all departmental resources.
2. Provide an effective internal communication plan for site and production managers in a timely manner.
3. Document and circulate monthly H&S reports for discussion and review.
4. Control and manage budget spend of H&S processes.
5. Ensure the group’s departments work within the H&S procedures and manage and log all accidents/incidents.
6. Chair all monthly H&S briefs to the group and take/manage actions where necessary.
7. Identify and deliver the need for training of personnel in all H&S matters.
8. Complete COSHH assessments as needed and involvement in MSDS documentation reviews.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and objectives regarding initiatives and projects.
About You:
1. Experience of H&S processes and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
2. IOSH managing safety certificates or equivalent.
3. Confident in implementing and delivering H&S processes to shop floor personnel and supporting their training and development in this area.
4. Commercial awareness of the textile industry and products would be an advantage.
5. Ability to have a flexible approach to out of hours work, if needed on occasion.
6. Good influencing skills and able to work well as part of a team.
