The Role
As the Key Account Manager, you will provide comprehensive support to key customers, with regards to spares, shipset installations, warranty team support, schedule management and order processing.
Key responsibilities
• Manage the aftermarket sales function – specifically spares sales and distribution
• Manage and develop aftermarket sales opportunities within managed accounts
• Responsible for the delivery of monthly/annual spares/aftermarket sales targets and forecasting
• Contribute to the wider sales forecast
• Manage shipset orders and schedules both internally and directly with the customer
• Develop and pursue new business within the key account network
• Support the delivery of major programmes – to be directly involved with relevant key accounts from point of sale to delivery and through life support
• The position will involve global travel to support direct customer meetings
To be successful in this position you will have/be;
• Degree or equivalent and 5 years or more experience in managing customers/programmes in the aerospace seating sector
• Extensive knowledge of the aerospace industry
• Proven background in direct customer-facing roles within the aerospace sector
• Demonstration of commercial acumen and ability to foster value-adding relationships
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work as part and lead a team
