Join a dynamic team in Harrow as an ASB Coordinator, where you will be responsible for investigating and enforcing anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues across the borough, working in line with legislation, policies, and procedures to enhance public safety and well-being.
THE ROLE
As an ASB Coordinator, you will play a key role in reducing ASB within the borough through effective enforcement and partnership working.
1. Conduct investigations into ASB incidents and determine the need for enforcement action.
2. Provide guidance to Housing Officers on mid- and low-level ASB case management.
3. Represent the Council at public meetings, inquiries, and legal proceedings.
4. Prepare reports and statements of evidence for legal proceedings.
5. Issue legal notices, formal cautions, and other enforcement documents.
6. Ensure compliance with legislation, including PACE, CPIA, and RIPA.
7. Contribute to the development of ASB-related strategies, policies, and plans.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an ASB enforcement or related role, such as Environmental Health or the Police.
1. Strong knowledge of ASB legislation and enforcement procedures.
2. Experience investigating ASB cases and preparing legal documentation.
3. Ability to work under pressure and independently manage caseloads.
4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders.
5. Full UK driving licence and willingness to work outside normal hours when required.
THE CONTRACT
1. Temporary – 3 months
2. The pay range for the role is £25.00 to £26.00 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £21.31 to £22.17 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
