Graduate HSEQ\\\
The Role\\\
Under the direction and mentorship of an HSEQ Advisor, as an HSEQ Graduate, you will support a number of projects to meet the requirements of our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management systems. The role will also involve assisting our Site Teams and Managers by helping to recognise hazards and seeking to minimise risks whilst creating, improving and maintaining exemplary HSEQ standards on-site and in the business. You will champion HSEQ initiatives in the workplace whilst ensuring that legislation is adhered to.\\\
Key Responsibilities\\\
Advice and support\\\
Assist the HSEQ Advisor and wider Team with the following:\\\
\\\
to provide consistent and accurate HSEQ advice\\\
to provide support on HSEQ proactive initiatives and dedicated campaigns\\\
to Provide support on HSEQ issues/problems escalated at the site level\\\
to support the HSEQ Manager with compiling statistics on a monthly basis, identifying trends and providing suggestions for improvement\\\
engagement with the Front Line and act on their feedback\\\
undertake regular site visits and tours\\\
Provide general admin support related to various initiatives and review of HSEQ data.\\\
\\\
Communications \\\
\\\
Contribute to the creation and delivery of HSEQ-related communication at a local level\\\
Assist the HSEQ Advisor with producing and communicating safety alerts following incidents to promote learning and prevention.\\\
\\\
Accident/incident investigations\\\
\\\
Assist the HSEQ Advisor with undertaking a timely investigation.\\\
Subsequently, provide support with identifying the root causes and the setup of appropriate preventive action.\\\
\\\

HSEQ Team including HSEQ Director, HSEQ Manager, HSEQ Advisor and Assistant HSEQ Advisor\\\

About you\\\
As this is a Graduate position, no formal HSEQ qualifications are required; however HSEQ qualifications will be gained during the graduate programme provided by the company.\\\
\\\
Analytical skills to interpret detailed information and regulations\\\
High standard of written English\\\
Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines\\\
Good communication skills, including a professional telephone manner\\\
Ability to liaise with staff and operatives at all levels\\\
Effective communicator with strong presentation and report-writing skills\\\
