Discovery Educations internship program is called BOLD (Building Opportunities for Leadership and Development). The paid internship program is 12 weeks from 19 May 2025 15 August 2025, and interns will be required to work a 37.5-hour work week.
Throughout the 12-week internship program, you will complete important and meaningful work and project assignments with a focus on providing you with opportunities for growth, visibility, and exposure within the organization. You will be paired with a manager who will guide you through projects and work assignments.
Our BOLD program will be held in our Bath office located in Bath, BA1 2NH. This is a hybrid internship in which you will be required to come into the Bath office on Tuesday and Wednesday with the ability to work remotely for the remaining days.
We have two open positions for our internship program in Marketing and Engineering.
Are you ready to dive into the world of Marketing? Discovery Educations is looking for an energetic, creative, and passionate Marketing Intern to join our International Marketing team. You will play a key role in supporting various projects and contributing to Discovery Education's global initiatives.
What You Will Do:
Support Key Projects: Assist with the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing initiatives, including the development of a global impact web page and assisting with international marketing strategy
Create Impactful Content: Help design marketing materials, social media content, and promotional materials
Contribute to Strategy: Participate in discussions regarding international marketing expansion and global engagement strategies
Build Your Portfolio: Gain hands-on experience in global marketing campaigns and content creation
Analyze and Learn: Track data and analyze marketing outcomes to refine strategies and improve impact
Are you ready to dive into the world of front-end engineering? Discovery Education is looking for an energetic, creative, and passionate Engineering Intern to join our International Engineering team. You will play a key role in developing software solutions for our DreamBox Maths games product, where youll use modern technology stack to build games and/or content for DreamBox Maths.
What You Will Do: Support Key Projects: Assist with the planning, execution, and evaluation of front-end feature development and optimization that aligns with the departments goals
Create Impactful Content: Work with engineering leaders to enhance user interfaces and user experience
Contribute to Strategy: Participate in discussions around software engineering best practices
Build Your Portfolio: Gain hands-on experience in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks. Youll have the chance to work on real-world projects that will strengthen your professional portfolio
Analyze and Learn: Learn how the software industry works by building real-world software that students will use around the world, and use that learning to build your future career as a software engineer
Requirements (both roles): Must be willing to travel to our Bath office two times per week
Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
Enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field
Must be a junior or senior undergraduate student or a master's student
Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
