Job Profile for Injection Mould Setter - MC190716
Injection Mould Setter required for a large and leading global manufacturer. This position will be based around Oxford.
Injection Mould Setter Position Overview
1. Plan ahead for production changes by ensuring they have all the relevant tools, materials and equipment for the next change over
2. Safely shut down machines at the end of their production runs ensuring all Safe Systems of Work (SSOW's) are followed
3. Safely remove moulds from machines and return to appropriate safe place
4. Remove all materials not required for the next job and ensure adequate materials available for next job
5. Safely install the tool for the next run and ensure that all installations are completed safely and completely
6. Process the production run to standard setting requirements and produce product standards to First Off acceptable standard
7. Optimise the process to ensure that target cycle times and cavitation are achieved or exceeded
8. Ensure that machines put into production are set in a clean and tidy manner suitable and safe for production operatives
9. Ensure that all machine monitoring is set with appropriate tolerances to ensure safe repeatability of process
10. Update the business performance monitoring system with accurate data to validate production
11. Ensure all documentation is completed completely and accurately.
12. Respond to machine problems to resolve quality, uptime or safety issues
13. Investigate opportunities to improve SMED, TPM, mould capture, processing efficiencies, material drying & conveyancing, recycling and automation to reduce manual workloads.
14. Maintain a responsible, moral and ethical behaviour to support the business ethics.

Injection Mould Setter Position Remuneration
19. Pension matched up to 5%
20. The team works on a 3-shift pattern rotating weekly between early (06:00-14:30), late (14:00-22:30) and nights (22:00-06:30). The production facility commences each week with a Sunday night shift and finishes with a Friday late shift
21. £34k-£38k including shift allowance
22. Attendance bonus equating to around £1100
23. Lots of overtime from 1.5 times to 2.6 times (Sunday nights)
