Our client, a leading manufacturer near Eastleigh, are currently seeking to recruit skilled Manufacturing/Assembly Operatives. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals experienced in a manufacturing/production environment to join a dynamic team and contribute to the production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Construction: Operate within a manufacturing environment to construct products according to company standard operating procedures and policies.
2. Drawing Review: Collaborate with Senior or Team Leaders to review air handling drawings before construction, ensuring all required materials and casework are present to meet the build plan.
3. Quality Maintenance: Maintain and improve quality standards by inspecting throughout the manufacturing process. Report any concerns to Senior Operatives or Team Leaders to ensure timely and quality delivery.
4. Rework Assistance: Assist with rework of piece parts or final assemblies as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
5. Work Area Maintenance: Keep tools and working areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards, ensuring respect and maintenance of the workspace.
6. Product Development: Assist in developing new and improved products by providing constructive feedback to enhance product features and build qualities.
7. Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all relevant signs, instructions, and procedures to ensure health and safety compliance within the working area.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment.
2. Familiarity with using hand tools for completing tasks.
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
Employment Terms:
1. Initial Duration: 3 months, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.
2. Working Hours: 6am - 2pm (Monday to Friday).
3. Pay Rate: £11.54 - £12.31 per hour (depending on experience).
