Working Foreman
Gillingham - Kent
Full Time, Permanent 42.5 Hours per week.
Salary up to £34,680 + Company Van and fuel card.

About the role:
As a working foreman, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. You’ll also be supporting the supervisor by managing a small team, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everyone is working effectively
1. Overseeing the work of laborers and subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
2. Maintaining health and safety standards on-site, ensuring all workers adhere to regulations
3. Assigning tasks to team members based on their skills and expertise
4. Acting as a liaison between management and workers, ensuring clear communication of project goals and updates
5. Managing orders and deliveries of materials and equipment, and ensuring they are used effectively
6. Addressing any issues or disputes that arise on-site, and finding solutions to keep the project on track
7. Providing guidance and training to junior team members to help them improve their skills
8. Creating work schedules and ensuring that deadlines are met
Role Criteria:

10. Damp and Mould Experience
11. H&B experience
12. Previous experience in Social Housing essential
13. Provide own hand tools

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
