Brain Injury Support Worker (LIBERTATEM)
This is a new opportunity for Brain Injury Support Workers to join a new client in Bath, working 24 or 48 hour shifts with a sleeping night. The client has a severe brain injury with cognitive and mobility issues, and the support workers will be responsible for engaging with personalised routines, assisting with physiotherapy, providing emotional support, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Main duties of the job
The Brain Injury Support Worker will be responsible for engaging with personalised routines, assisting with physiotherapy programme, providing emotional support and companionship, maintaining accurate records of care provided, and collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care for the client who has a severe brain injury with cognitive and mobility issues.

Job responsibilities
We have a new opportunity for Brain Injury Support Workers to join a new client in Bath, working 24 or 48 hour shifts with a sleeping night (details of the days required TBC). Following a road traffic accident, our male client has a severe brain injury with cognitive and mobility issues. He is extremely intelligent but enjoys spending time on his computer, so we are seeking proactive support workers to encourage him to be active and go out - he enjoys comedy club and cricket!
Key Responsibilities:
* Engaging with personalised routines.
* Assisting with physiotherapy programme.
* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
* Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work the specified hours.

Training & Background Checks:
