Key Responsibilities:
1. Opening and closing client files.
2. Ensuring all client identification documents are obtained and complying with regulations.
3. Assisting with the preparation of documents and legal paperwork.
4. Drafting legal documents such as letters of instruction to experts.
5. Managing the preparation and submission of Court documents.
6. Liaising with clients, professionals, providers, and other third parties involved, ensuring clear and effective communication.
7. Providing secretarial support to the partners, including managing diaries, arranging appointments, preparing and proof-reading correspondence via digital dictation, and handling client queries.
8. Regularly reviewing client files and bringing attention to any actions or deadlines that need to be addressed, ensuring smooth progression of the case.
9. Providing assistance with the administration of settlements, including liaising with clients to ensure the correct documentation is completed.
10. To provide ad-hoc secretarial cover for sickness and holiday absences within the team as required.
