About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring a high standard of care, compliance with Ofsted regulations, and a supportive team environment. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance the service, working closely with senior leadership to drive positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Service Management:
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 7-bed EBD/LD home.
o Lead, support, and develop a dedicated staff team, ensuring a positive and therapeutic environment.
o Ensure high-quality care is delivered in line with Ofsted requirements.
2. Care & Safeguarding:
o Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of young people with EBD and LD.
o Implement individual care plans and behaviour management strategies.
o Work in partnership with social workers, families, and external agencies.
3. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
o Maintain Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
o Ensure all policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices are fully adhered to.
o Monitor and review the home’s performance, identifying areas for improvement.
4. Career Progression & Development:

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a residential EBD or LD setting.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards it).
* Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and therapeutic childcare approaches.
* Passion for improving the lives of children and young people with complex needs.
* Ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver the highest standard of care.
