SEN Lecturer/ Teacher - SEN College - Uxbridge ASAP/Easter start, full time Temporary to Permanent We are working with an Outstanding Specialist College offering life-changing learning opportunities to young people and adults with a range of special education needs and/or disabilities. Students have a wide range of needs including profound and multiple learning disabilities, ASD, SEMH, communication and behavioural difficulties and specific medical needs. All students are individual and their learning programme is designed to support and empower them to achieve their aspirations and goals, whilst developing skills to become more independent members of their community. About the Role: - We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer, who specialises in PMLD/ASD, to join our dedicated and welcoming team. - You will plan differentiated work to meet the needs of individuals and groups promoting progression, continuity and quality of learning by having clear intentions for our students learning. - You should be able to accurately access need, deliver teaching reflective of need and measure progress with a determination to positively impact on the lives of our pupils - Lessons are carefully planned and take into account the needs, interests and abilities of all students so that learning is more purposeful and engaging. About You: Qualified Teacher status (QTS) / QTLS / SEN Qualification Experience working with young adults with ASD/PMLD A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach to teaching.
