As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a commercially astute Central Parts Advisor to join our team and support our sites in delivering industry-leading repair solutions. What You’ll Be Doing: As a Central Parts Advisor, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our onsite Parts Advisors across multiple locations. This isn’t your average Parts role – you'll be sourcing, negotiating, and streamlining parts supply to ensure our teams have what they need, when they need it. Source and procure parts quickly and cost-effectively from a range of approved and alternative suppliers. Negotiate the best possible terms to maximise margins and minimise delays. Manage lead times and communicate clearly with site teams about ETAs, supplier issues, and any changes to delivery schedules. Provide solutions when parts are delayed or unavailable – including alternatives and creative sourcing strategies. Build strong relationships with suppliers to leverage better deals and stay ahead of supply chain trends. Support onsite Parts Advisors with technical knowledge and escalation of complex sourcing issues. What We're Looking For: Experience in a Parts Advisor role within the automotive repair or bodyshop industry. Strong commercial acumen – you're driven by value and efficiency. A confident negotiator with a proactive, solution-focused mindset. Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts, with a proven track record of sourcing from multiple suppliers. Comfortable with systems like Audatex, Pinnacle, or similar. Able to work independently while staying connected with a wider team. A natural communicator who can handle pressure and keep others informed. Ready to take your Parts career to the next level? Apply now and help us keep Steer Automotive Group ahead of the curve in parts procurement.
