We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Accountant to join an established finance department on a maternity cover basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The successful candidate will oversee the accounts team, maintain precise financial records, and provide strategic support to senior management.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Lead and oversee the accounts team, guaranteeing optimal performance and compliance with company policies.
* Supervise the creation and upkeep of financial records, such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
* Deliver strategic financial analysis and reports to senior management.
* Support in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and planning activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant / Finance Manager / Head of Finance or similar.
* Proficiency in accounting software (advantageous if Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
