Role Purpose
We are seeking an Assistant Development Manager to work on and help deliver large-scale projects ranging from £20m to £500m. The role offers the chance to work across the entirety of the development lifecycle from acquisition to completion and provides a fantastic learning opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in development management and property development and be proficient in Argus and/or Excel appraisal models.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support senior members of the team in all areas
2. Appraise project viability
3. Write, produce and present reports
4. Work alongside external consultancy teams across design, planning, cost and delivery
5. Work with external stakeholders including funders, which include leading institutional firms
6. Conduct research, data analysis and analysis of the latest market trends
7. Assist in project planning and scheduling, coordinating with stakeholders
8. Support the Development Manager in monitoring project progress and performance
9. Conduct site visits and assist in project inspections
10. Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and budgets
11. Help manage project risks and resolve issues as they arise
12. Assist in stakeholder communication and project presentations
Person Specification/Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
2. A few years' experience in project management or development
3. Strong organizational and analytical skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
5. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
6. Proficient in Argus appraisal software / producing and managing Excel appraisal models
