JOB DESCRIPTION / ACCOUNTABILITIES The jobholder is responsible for ensuring that safe ty, environmental and quality standards meet company and regulatory standards. Driving safety improvements through regular audits/reporting of plant equipment, procedures and activities. Follow and execute S&OP plan. O perat e chemical manufacturing equipment / services to ensure that defined parameters and targets are consistently achieved. Ensure all SIF/DCS equipment is both operational and any de f ects are reported for maintenance. The jobholder must be self-motivated and use interpersonal skills to communicate constructively and clearly to Team members, Manufacturing, Technical and other support functions. Out of hours point of contact. Adopts a flexible approach, adapt ing to changing daily production plans as. Work within a shift team and collaborate with other departments. Assist with the c ontinuous improvement of plant processes. Proof - testing of safety equipment and reporting of any failures Develop / improve Manufacturing tasks and draft / review appropriate procedures to the required standards. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Essential: NVQ L evel 3 or City and Guilds in Process Operations Minimum 5 years experience withing Caprolactone or 5 years high hazard process experience within the Petro-chemical, chemical or nuclear industries. Appropriate literacy, numerical reasoning and accuracy skills. Basic Computer skills. Desirable: Safety training (IOSH, NEBOSH). Forklift truck licence. Permit to work/LOTOTO training. COMAH awareness.
