PHARMACY ADMINISTRATION TEAM LEADER BASED: Tamworth UPS Building, UPS SCS Tamworth - Danny Morson Way, Dordon, Tamworth, B78 1SE. HOURS: 37.5 Hours Monday Friday - Between the hours of 8am - 6pm, flexibility will be required for this role with regards to start/finish times to suit the needs of the business, which may be of an urgent medical nature. For successful Pharmacy Administration Team Leader applicants, Polar Speed will process basic disclosure criminal record checks. Key responsibilities: To deliver operational efficiencies in relation to resource, system compliance, processes and procedures. Ensuring optimum use of resources during staff shortages. To manage and develop the performance and progression of administration / care coordinators ensuring they deliver an efficient patient focused service whilst nurturing a progressional development environment. Deliver effective leadership of the administration team to ensure accurate and continuously improving delivery of homecare medication to the patient. Drive efficiencies within the pharmacy coordination activities. Effectively monitor and manage the teams contribution to the achievement of KPI's. Assist and complete relevant audits for both internal and external purposes in a timely fashion, reacting and implementing any outcomes / recommendations that result from them. Maintain high standards of housekeeping / organisation throughout the department. Act in absence as deputy to the Pharmacy Manager as point of contact. Skills: Excellent organisational skills, showing initiative and being proactive. Works well under pressure, whilst working towards deadlines. Must be able to build effective working relationships with senior managers, other departments and external contacts. Must be a decision maker. Must appreciate the need for retaining confidentiality.
