Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager for our client based in Birmingham (B42).
Our client is a provider of care and support to children & young people who have complex mental health disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Assist in managing daily operations and leading shifts
Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
Supervise, mentor, and support staff, ensuring high care standards
Lead shifts and provide on-call support when required
Supervise and support staff, conducting training and appraisals
Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance (Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015)
Support care planning and advocate for young people’s well-being
Maintain a safe, well-run home and complete administrative duties
Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it
Experience working in a children’s residential setting
Strong leadership, communication, and safeguarding knowledge
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties
Salary: up to £35,000 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (must be flexible to cover if required)
