Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician
Join our dynamic team as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing electrical and instrumentation equipment at a waste to energy facility.

Salary of £50,000 per annum + Shift Allowance + Pension + Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and machine breakdowns, ensuring equipment reliability.
* Implement and enhance preventive maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation machinery.
* Diagnose faults and deliver effective repairs in a timely manner.
* Execute installation work to high standards and statutory compliance.
* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain equipment in optimal condition.
* Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repair and maintenance work.
* Participate in relevant training programs to develop and maintain technical expertise.
* Work on rotating shifts, including nights and days, with potential on-call duties to address operational emergencies.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent trade certification.
* Electrical experience in heavy industrial environments such as power plants.
* Skilled in large-scale installation, PPM work, and fault-finding using electrical drawings.
* Experience with PLC-controlled systems, variable speed drives, and pneumatic systems.
