Are you a Band 8a Pharmacist with managerial experience, looking for a rewarding locum role in West London? We have an exciting opportunity available with the option to work x1 day from home!
• Job Title: Locum Band 8a Pharmacist
• Location: West London - Acute Hospital
• Duration: Ongoing contract
• Schedule: 4 or 5 days per week, 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch), opportunity for 1 day remote work
• Start Date: ASAP, April 2025
• End Date: Ongoing
• Rate of Pay: £33 - £37.50 per hour via DE PAYE

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our client's team as a Band 8a Pharmacist and play a key role in supporting junior pharmacists and ensuring the highest standards of pharmaceutical care. In this role, you will:
1. Oversee and support junior pharmacists in their clinical work
2. Provide guidance on ward-based duties, including rehab and elderly care
3. Conduct some clinical ward work but primarily focus on office-based managerial duties
4. Ensure high standards of patient care and compliance with clinical guidelines
5. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A current and valid GPhC registration
2. Experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity
3. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
4. The ability to work independently and within a team environment
5. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position with availability required from Monday to Friday (4 or 5 days per week). The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
