We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Factory Team Manager to join our client’s manufacturing facility in Birtley. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team in a manufacturing environment.
The role involves working a two-shift pattern: Monday to Friday, with one week of day shifts (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) followed by a week of back shifts (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour working week, and breaks are paid.
The key responsibilities will be, but not limited, to the following :
* Responsible for up to 7 Production Supervisors
* Ensuring adherence to all health & safety policies and procedures
* Meeting agreed KPI’s for the department
* Responsibility for all production scheduling for the primary production areas
* Ensuring compliance with all quality standards in both product and process
* Identification and development of operational improvement plans leading to increased efficiencies, better customer service and reduced costs
Knowledge and Experience:
* Excellent communication skills written and verbal
* Proven team leadership or management experience
* Must be a natural leader
* Experience of continuous improvement
* Good organisational skills
* The ability to manage busy workload and meet deadlines
* Able to multitask
* OEE experience
