Job introduction
A rare opportunity has arisen for a full-time 9-month fixed-term Business Support Officer (BSO) position in the Family Group Conference Service based in Portslade Children's Social Work Hub, BN41 2PG. The BSO will provide administrative support to two pilot projects: Family Network Pilot and Lifelong Links (funding ends 31.05.2025).
About the role
We are looking for an applicant who is very organised, a team player, proficient at collecting data using IT/financial systems, and who can sensitively liaise directly with families and social workers about financial matters.
We will provide the successful applicant with training and support. There will be opportunities to learn more about Children’s Services, be part of an outstanding team, and contribute to delivering an innovative service to families in need.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
