Who we are and what we do
Established in London in 1991, Laurence King is one of the world’s leading publishers of books on the creative arts. From its beginnings producing textbooks for the US college market, Laurence King has gone on to be a respected brand in the design world on both sides of the Atlantic. Our titles offer expert content on everything from fundamental skills to cutting-edge technology. We work with the best authors, designers, illustrators and photographers to create beautifully produced books acclaimed for their inventiveness, design and authoritative texts. In September 2020 Laurence King was acquired by Hachette UK and is now an imprint of John Murray Press.
