As we enter a new phase of rapid global growth, we are seeking a Finance Associate to manage the financial ledgers, process financial transactions, analyse financial variances and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general ledger reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
* Accurately input and update financial records into accounting software, including invoices, receipts, payroll and other transactions.
* Process incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring they are properly recorded and reconciled.
* Monitor and maintain the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely payments.
* Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records and assist in resolving discrepancies.
* Support financial audits by preparing relevant documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
* Monitor and report on financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct variance reporting to identify trends and recommend improvements.
* Engage in special projects, including process improvements and system implementations.

About you
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and best practices.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
* Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems (Business Central and Hubspot are preferable).
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
* Basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
* Experience in a finance or accounting role is required.
* Being part qualified (e.g., AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
