Red Sky are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner working at Heathrow to manage works in the aircraft cabin. A Planner who can utilise available resources to achieve the maximum output within the available Cabin Maintenance slot period. The candidate will be working alongside the airlines Cabin Planners and will be required to attend daily meetings ensuring communication of weekly tasks and available materials. The Cabin Maintenance Planner will be responsible for the following: Duties Creating both Long-Term and Short-Term plans for future cabin maintenance activities. Manage the Cabin Maintenance Slots to ensure optimization of the required aircraft cabin maintenance and defect rectification objectives. Prioritize and Co-ordinate Forward Cabin Maintenance requirements. Ensure Availability of Material & Tooling together with Hangar Availability Using available IT Tools (Bit-on/Quinyx) plus Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) Creating And Controlling Task Cards. Working alongside Material's and Stores Manager ensuring stock is available and on time. Ensuring appropriate communication throughout the delivery of the Cabin Maintenance Activities Managing cover for the stores Experience Many years relevant experience within an Aircraft Maintenance Production Environment Familiarity with resource and material planning Ability to think analytically and solve problems efficiently and effectively. Ability to construct manage and execute both short term and long-term plans. Familiarity with Aviation Technical Documentation To have completed training in an aeronautical profession or to possess equivalent knowledge through many years of professional experience. Experience within an Aircraft Maintenance Production Environment Essential skills Must be Flexible. Must work under own initiative and be able to plan workloads and prioritize.
