We distribute to the biggest news publishers in the UK – from the Sun, Mirror and Daily Mail to the Times and Telegraph.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced PR professional – ideally you’ll have worked in a PR agency in an account manager or account executive role for at least 3 years.
You’ll collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver great content – whether that’s video, pictures, research, copy, quizzes – you name it, we do it.
This is a creative project manager role – so you’ll be expected to manage a high volume of exciting accounts within a dynamic and fast paced team, bringing everything together to land amazing coverage.
Creativity will be at the heart of everything you do – and you will be able to demonstrate a keen interest in the national news agenda, strong media knowledge, as well as the ability to come up with fantastic ideas.
You’ll be confident liaising with clients, presenting ideas and providing strategic counsel.
You will be expected to take the lead on accounts, acting as the key point of contact for clients, forming strong relationships, meeting deadlines, providing consultancy and knowledge of the news agenda which you are creating content for.
Your written skills will be excellent, and you will have previous writing experience which might be press releases, page ready news content, blogs, reviews, web copy etc.
You’ll also know what makes a national news story – and be able to demonstrate this in your interview.
This is not a marketing or sales role – we will therefore discount any applications without relevant PR experience.
The successful candidate will have the flexibility of working from home once a period of training has been concluded. However, all staff are currently required to work from the office for a minimum of three days per week. This role is Bristol based, with a starting salary of £35k.
