We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented Spa Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. You will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of the spa’s front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival.
* Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries, providing information about services, availability, and pricing.
* Schedule and confirm appointments for guests, ensuring accurate booking details and avoiding conflicts.
* Maintain and update client records in the spa’s management system.
* Process payments, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently.
* Provide clients with information about spa services, promotions, and products.
* Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
* Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues to management when necessary.
* Support the spa team with administrative tasks, such as inventory tracking, ordering supplies, and ensuring staff schedules are up-to-date.
* Ensure all guests are checked in and out in a timely manner.
* Keep up-to-date with spa services and treatments to provide accurate information to clients.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer service (spa or hospitality experience is a plus).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in basic office software (MS Office, scheduling software, etc.).
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
* Basic knowledge of spa treatments and services is an advantage.
* Friendly, approachable, and able to work well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with spa booking software (e.g., Mindbody, Booker, or similar systems).
