We are looking to appoint a fixed term cover teacher who can demonstrate they can deliver good to outstanding lessons and who is passionate about quality SEN education.
Cherry Oak School is a Primary Special School for pupils with cognition and communication difficulties who have a diverse range of specialist learning needs. Federated with Victoria School and Victoria College, Cherry Oak School provides pupils with a bespoke curriculum which caters for all of our learners on either the Explorers learning pathway (sensory learners) or on the Connectors learning pathway (formal learners). The school is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a passion for teaching. Candidates will be able to inspire and engage our pupils and will be keen to join our committed staff team on our journey to becoming an outstanding school.
You will have the highest expectations for all pupils to achieve well, with an excellent understanding of the challenges they face. Your planning will effectively support the individual needs of the pupils you teach. You will be able to make good use of a range of technology to support both learning and communication. Special school experience would be an advantage; however, for the right candidate, as long as you are motivated, enthusiastic, and ready for a challenge, Cherry Oak could be the place for you!
