Job Role: Quantity Surveyor (Demolition Experience)
Location: Sutton in Ashfield
Opportunity: Permanent
Salary: Up to £60,000 D.O.E (Car & Further benefits)
I currently have an opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who has experience in Civils, Construction or largescale ground/earthworks. You will be joining a successful and fast-growing business where your achievements and commitment will be appreciated and rewarded.

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
1. Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and other expenses.
2. Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure costs are controlled throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Tendering and Contracting: Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents, evaluate bids, and assist with contract negotiations.
4. Cost Planning: Develop and maintain detailed cost plans to ensure that financial resources are allocated effectively.
5. Value Engineering: Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures without compromising the quality or integrity of the project.
6. Measurement and Quantification: Measure and quantify the work done on-site, ensuring accurate documentation for payment claims and progress reporting.
7. Risk Management: Identify potential financial risks in projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
8. Contract Administration: Oversee and administer contracts to ensure compliance with agreed terms, including managing variations and claims.
9. Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and report on the financial performance of the project, including any deviations from the budget.
10. Final Accounts: Prepare final accounts for construction projects, including cost reconciliation and ensuring all payments are made and received appropriately.
Key requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:
11. Relevant Quantity Surveying degree
12. Ambitious, hardworking and willing to dig in deep to support the team.
13. Strong technical knowledge within assessment and design including inspections, calculations and analysis of existing structures and new build design development.
14. Full driving licence and own transport.
15. Experience working within a Civil, groundworks, demolition or earthworks environment
