£11.68-£12.83 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The school is seeking an initiative-taking Autism Teaching Assistant to join their motivated team. Focusing on the whole child this school really is striving for outstanding in every area. The school is located in Droylsden and easily accesses from public transport incouding the metro. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed autism Teaching Assistant to be effective on this pupil’s experience of education. The successful autism Teaching Assistant will be required to work one to one with a pupil in year 3 class with a diagnosis of autism, assisting the pupil in overcoming barriers to learning.
Requirements
The desired ASC Teaching Assistant will have.
1. Have experience working with either with small groups or 1:1 with students who have been diagnosed or presenting with autism.
2. Must be always patient and calm
3. Be able to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
4. Be nurturing and patient.
